The Goals

Lynelle Kendall needed a skilled WordPress developer to address several technical and design issues on her existing website. Key goals included fixing broken links, resolving plugin conflicts, optimizing site speed, and ensuring full functionality and performance. Additionally, aligning the website design with her author brand was essential to create a professional and inviting platform that would resonate with her audience.

02

The Challenges

Working within a limited budget, I discovered that the current site did not fully reflect Lynelle’s branding, was not optimized for mobile responsiveness, and did not meet key Google guidelines for performance and SEO. To meet both her needs and budget, I proposed a full rebuild at an affordable rate, which she enthusiastically agreed to.

  • Design: Created a website design aligned with Lynelle’s brand as a children’s author, incorporating a welcoming, professional look to engage her audience and reflect her literary focus.
  • Content Curation: Sourced and incorporated free, high-quality images suited to the theme of her work.
  • Optimization: Completed a comprehensive site audit to ensure the final design was responsive across devices, fully optimized, and met all Google guidelines.
